SHIPPING POLICY

Local Delivery

Once we receive your order we aim to process and ship the same day Monday - Friday, at busy times i.e. sale times and in the lead up to Christmas we will aim to process and send within 48 hours. If you place your order on a weekend or public holiday, your order will be processed on the next working day.

Domestic (NZ) Deliveries are made by NZ Post, they aim to deliver within 3-5 days, slightly longer if you live rurally. These time frames may extend at times of high demand.

Shipping Rates

All shipping rates are shown in New Zealand dollars (NZD). They include insurance, packaging & handling, and postage.

International Shipping

All items are sent via tracked international courier with DHL and take 5-10 Working Days 

 

Important note for international orders:

You may be subject to import duties and taxes levied by your country or other overseas authority once a shipment reaches your country. We are not responsible for these costs and they are not included in the shipping cost.

 

You may also be required to pay additional charges for customs clearance. You should contact your local customs office for further information on applicable duties, taxes, restrictions and fees.

 

Tax

When you purchase from anywhere outside of New Zealand the website prices are exclusive of GST, items may be stopped upon import and local taxes applied, these taxes become the responsibility of the purchaser to pay. This is a standard practice that applies to all imports/ exports when local taxes have not been paid in the country of origin.

Tracking Your Order

All orders are tracked from pick up to delivery.

Upon placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation. Once your order ships you will receive a dispatch notification by email or text, followed by notifications at various stages of the delivery process, you will receive these directly from the courier agency. 

Unfortunately, shipping delays, once your order has left us, are out of our control, but rest assured we will endeavour to help you resolve these as quickly as possible.

REFUNDS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Ensuring your satisfaction is our top priority at Soma Stones. If you find yourself unsatisfied with your purchase or have had a change of heart, we have a hassle-free return and exchange policy in place. We want you to feel confident in your purchase and know that we've got you covered.

 

We anticipate that you will be very happy with your purchased item. 

Please note that it is at our discretion to exchange or credit an item that is unwanted, due to a change of mind.  

Items may be returned to us if you are unhappy with your purchase.  We reserve the right to repair or replace goods being returned in the first instance if there is any damage. However, if the item is unable to be repaired or replaced talk to us and we may offer an in store credit or gift voucher.

Lost or Damaged in Transit

If the product has been broken or damaged in transit please notify us as soon as possible after receiving your order and we will contact the courier company directly to resolve any claims.  

Please note that claims must be made within seven days of delivery of the item.  We ask that you sign and check all goods on receipt as we cannot be held responsible once the chain of custody is broken. We will cover any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement.

 

We must be notified of your intention to return an item shipped to you, within three working days of receipt of your order, and receive the returned item within seven working days of receipt of your order.  You will need to cover the cost of return shipping unless the item is broken or damaged.  The item being returned must be safely and securely packaged in its original packaging.
